convenient location, quiet atmosphere, proximity to Mac Arts venue
Poor value accommodation!!! Spartan room decor with visible paint behind furniture!!! Awkward shared shower situation, and lacking any breakfast options – just a meager biscuit provided!!! Could benefit from more considerate management!!!

you know, the shower room in the corridor touted as 'private' was hardly what i woudl ve hoped for. plus, no breakfast provided, just a measly biscuit to greet me in the morning. i almost praised this charming place, but where was my complimentary gesture? just plain rude!

The location was perfect for our night outs, being just a short walk from the town center and close to pubs. The owners ensured a warm and welcoming atmosphere, making it easy for us to enjoy our evenings. We particularly appreciated the cozy lounge area, perfect for unwinding after a long night out.
The shower setup was a bit awkward, as it was located outside the room.

The location in Galashiels is great for exploring.
Our experience was marred by the lack of basic amenities. The shower setup was awkward. having to share it outside the room felt uncomfortable. We also faced a disappointing absence of breakfast options and were left with just a biscuit as a token gesture, which was inadequate.

The Standard Triple Room was comfortable and well-equipped with a flat-screen TV and tea and coffee making facilities. The location in Galashiels is great for exploring, and the property is a charming Georgian town-house built in 1827, adding to its character.
No breakfast was provided.

Had a lovely stay with a cozy room and the added bonus of a kettle for tea anytime! There’s a nice garden area to chill out in and a comfy lounge for relaxing after a long day. Just a heads up, the bathroom setup was a bit quirky, but it didn't take away from the enjoyable experience. 🌼

Family with children delight
The garden room was lovely and cozy! Sheena's breakfasts were standout, especially the scrambled eggs that were to die for, and you could tell she really enjoys cooking them.
It wasn’t exactly cheap, but the experience was still acceptable.
